InnoTecUK is a dynamic and progressive SME, based in Cambridge UK, that specialises in consultation and the automation of inspection. InnoTecUK have experience of design, development, testing and application of robotics, and automatization systems for various industries (e.g. food and drinks, oil and gas, electronics, etc.).
InnoTecUK has expertise in the development of human-machine interfaces, embedded software, Monitoring and control systems, mechanical and electrical designs, signal processing, scanners and bespoke developments among others.
InnoTecUK has developed several mobile robotics applications for remote inspection and software for monitoring and control, signal and data processing incorporating advanced mathematical algorithms. The company also has broad project management and coordination experience resulting from years of managing teams and complex projects.
Business activities: InnoTecUK is a company that specialises in the design and development of non-invasive sensors for various industries (e.g. Aerospace, Renewable energy, Nuclear, petrochemical). InnoTecUK has expertise in the development of man-machine interface software, equipment control, scanners and bespoke developments, such as inspection techniques coupled with the expertise of its engineers, means we are among the leaders within this highly specialised field. The team at InnoTecUK has developed software for signal and data processing incorporating advanced mathematical algorithms. InnoTecUK has also managed several FP7 projects and is well-experienced in the management of FP7 projects. To name a few, InnoTecUK has successfully managed “Wintur DEMO”, “TidalSense DEMO”, “CORETO”, “IntelWind” etc.
Role in project: InnoTecUK will lead WP1 but it would also participate in all the other WPs along with all the rest of the consortium. InnoTecUK is already participating in two demo projects (TidalSense Demo and Wintur Demo) and they have experienced of the demonstration activities – projects.
Qualification for the role: InnoTecUK’spersonnel have vast experience in the development of man-machine interface software, equipment control and inspection techniques for the aerospace industry, as well as in developing software for signal and data processing incorporating advanced mathematical algorithms. These skills will be used to help with the demo activities of the SubCTest technology developed through the original project.
Key staff: Prof Tariq Sattar will be the main contact person from InnoTecUK for this project. Prof Tariq Sattar is the technical director of Innovative Technology and Science Ltd, UK, (InnoTecUK). He has led research in Automated Nondestructive Testing for over fifteen years and InnoTecUK is engaged in commercializing this research. Prof Sattar’s NDT systems have won seven annual awards between 2004-2011 for industrial innovation made by the Industrial Robot International Journal and the conference on Climbing and Walking Robots and their Supporting Technologies (CLAWAR). Prof Tariq has also managed the above mentioned projects on behalf of InnoTecUK successfully.
