Role in project: IKH will lead the software - communication activities in WP2.

Qualification for the role: IKH has participated in numerous R&D projects at European Level, through the Framework Programmes (FP6, FP7) as well as within other European Initiatives as Article 6, e-Content Plus, CIP, e- Ten. In addition, participates in R&D activities at a National level, through projects funded by the Greek respective authorities. Company' s expertise and research activities have been focused on the ICT domain (Information Communication Technologies), the Wireless Networks technologies, Sensor’s & Electronics, eLearning & Knowledge Repositories, eCulture & digital Libraries, visualization, DBs, e-tourism and iHotel services.

Key staff: Mrs. Xenia V. Bania, R&D Director, will be the main contact person for SubCTest Demo. She has been dealing with European Commission projects for the last 7 years, having cooperated with many Greek & European organizations especially in the field of Information Technology & Science Communication. She acquired her B.Sc. in Shipping Economics from the University of Piraeus and holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics & Finance from the Athens University of Economics & Business. She has worked extensively, as Project Manager and Coordinator, with European Projects within the 6th and 7th Framework Programme in the areas of Surface Transport, Robotics and Information Technologies. She has been extensively involved in Research Projects for SME’s as well as other Collaborative Instruments and Commission Initiatives – such as eTen & eContent+ and deeply possesses EC procedures & practices especially in the the fields of Project & Financial Management.
